Creative Media Strategist
Remote, Part-time, Contract | $25–$35/hour, based on experience |
Approximately 30-50 hours per month ($750–$1,750/month).

As a growing business, we are seeking a proactive and creative individual to support our digital presence and media strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling, design, and social impact, and enthusiastic about making meaningful contributions to a dynamic organization.
The Creative Media Strategist role blends content creation, graphic design, video editing, and online engagement to elevate our branding and marketing efforts. You’ll work closely with the President to execute creative strategies that communicate our mission and values effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Video Editing & Course Development
Primarily create short-form video content for social media platforms, integrating visuals, music, and text overlays to produce engaging content.
Contribute to larger projects, such as online course modules, by collaborating on scripting, storyboarding, and production to ensure professional and impactful videos.
Graphic Design & Content Creation
Design graphics for product packaging, merchandise, promotional materials, and social media content.
Develop high-quality, engaging content for email campaigns, websites, and other digital platforms.
Ensure all graphics and content align with Morganite Writing Company’s branding and storytelling goals.
Work with the team to conceptualize and execute designs for both digital and physical products.
Social Media Management
Plan, schedule, and manage social media posts to build brand awareness and audience engagement.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions, fostering community connections.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and report on the performance of content, videos, and campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies.
Collaboration & Innovation
Collaborate with the President and team members to ensure creative alignment with strategic goals.
Bring innovative ideas to enhance digital engagement and elevate our storytelling efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Proven experience in content creation, graphic design, and video editing.
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media trends.
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Express for graphic design and content creation is required.
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro for video editing is preferred; willingness to learn is welcome.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, CapCut) is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
